[There is silence for a long time, but then a soft rumbling is heard that slowly gets louder. It sounds like a building collapsing or at least something really large being smashed apart. As soon as the shaking stops and the sounds of destruction end a voice comes on, it's Toph and it's hard to tell what sort of tone she has]

You...you hear that sound? That's the sound of me ripping up your streets and throwing the debris into empty buildings. Very soon, I'm going to take that same debris and SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROATS!

[rumble, crash, the sound of shattering glass]

WHY ARE YOU TAKING THEM AWAY FROM ME! WHY? YOU CAN'T DO THIS! YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE IMPORTANT PEOPLE AWAY FROM ME!

[another rumble and crash and then the sound of a sob, when she speaks again she sounds ready to snap someone in half]

You people are going to pay. No one does this to the greatest earthbender in the world and gets away with it! You wanna mess with me? Well here we go!

[more things crashing, sometimes you can hear what sounds like a sob but surely it can't be...not from Toph]

[Voice]
[air raid sirens can be heard in the background]

I'm guessing that's not a good signal.

[sighs]

Sokka, we need to talk about a few things. Get your butt over to the Library Hotel...wait...you're helpless right now. Never mind I'll come find you. You're at the Dan Apartments you said?

[there's a pause as though she is thinking]

Speaking of which, Sora, you come along too.

[Voice]

What? So that's it? We're really stuck here? I mean, I knew going back home was pretty unlikely since it's another world and all...but you're telling me now that we can't even get off the stupid island without being bounced back?

That's just great.

[suddenly, she starts to laugh and then her voice gets a little louder]

YOU HEAR THAT YOU CARP MORONS! WE CAN'T LEAVE EVEN IF WE WANTED TO! THERE'S A MAGICAL WALL OUT THERE PREVENTING IT!

Tch. But that's probably not going to stop you blockheads from hurting more people is it? Right? Because one of us decided it'd be a GREAT idea to trap ourselves in here with YOU lot, a couple hundred super crabs, and three monsters. Clearly, one of us erected this wall because this is all one big happy fun time game.

[voice: very not happy]

Alright! Who was the moron that let the water all over the kitchen and didn't clean it up. I nearly slipped in there!

G-guys. I had a scary dream last night. There was a huge hole in the ground and when anyone got close to it they were eaten by a monster...but for some reason no one realized there was a monster in the hole, so people kept going there.

It seemed like a really real dream.

I just thought you should know.

Ah, it's nice that it's starting to get a little warmer.  I doubt it'll last but it's still nice to be able to go out without shoes for a little while.

So, I have a question, did anyone feel or hear that rumbling a little earlier?  The earth got all shifty again and I think one of the buildings collapsed.  Now, I'm not saying this is a good idea, not after that stuff with the subway, but I'm thinking we should go check it out.  I'll be heading out  there a little later if anyone else is interested.

That and who knows...if someone was trapped down there it could be bad news and you're going to need someone who can move the huge rocks to help.

Sup guys. Considering how bored I've been lately you'd think I would have been posting like crazy. *pause and a short laugh* Though, I've been bothering other people on THEIR journals so I guess that counts for something, right?

Anyways, I just wanted to let anyone who cares know that I've moved myself over to the Library Hotel. I figure I can be a bit more useful over here since Godot's been pretty under the weather lately...that and it's just been way too quiet back at my place.

I also got to learn about this Christmas thing. Doesn't sound nearly as exciting as the festivals back home but at the same time I think it might be fun to get presents for people. Course...that means trying to figure out WHAT to get people. Hmmm.

*silence for a little bit*

Welp, that's really all I wanted to say. So, I hope everyone's doing okay in this weather, I know I haven't been getting out much which sucks because that means people are taking down the crabs that have MY name on them. *sighs* Oh well, most of you are probably sticking close to home anyway.

Puh, stupid snow...I wish it wasn't so cold here...this weather sucks.

*sound of something being thrown, quite possibly a pillow since it's not really loud and only goes THUMP*

I'll be outside throwing rocks at buildings...or crabs...whichever decide to get in my way.

Well, I haven't talked to the large inanimate box in awhile so why not now.  I can't go out as much any more on account of this weather.  It never got this cold in the Earth Kingdom and I've never had to worry about my toes falling off from the cold.  So, now when I go out I actually have to wear shoes, ugh.  That being the case it means I can't...see as well which is really annoying to me.  Looks like I'm just going to be stuck doing nothing all winter unless I can figure something out that doesn't involve me getting frostbite.

Especially since I'm pretty sure it's only going to get colder.

Bending is back on! Yes! I knew it would be...eventually...*mutters under breath* at least I had really really hoped. I know it's a bit late Godot but do you still need me to get stuff out of the Rai Rai Ken? I had to...deal with a few things before then.

Suki, Zuko...guys...I'm kinda getting tired of staying in this crowded Madison Square Garden place...can we find a new building to crash soon? I'm open to suggestions...

Thankfully the internet cafe near our place was still mostly intact or I wouldn't be able to do this.

We're safe. We being Zuko, Suki, and myself. I...I'm not sure where Sokka and Katara were during all this but...I hope they're safe...they...they better be okay!

*pause as Toph tries to hide a sniffling sound*

Godot? Harry? Anybody? Please tell me you guys are okay. It felt like the whole world was crumbling and that's scary...it was really really scary. I...I can't bend anymore. I don't know what I did when I was trying to keep the place from falling on us but...I'm completely cut off from my earth senses now.

*silence*

I'm sorry. Normally I would have been able to get people unburied from this crap no problem but now...now I can't even see with my feet let alone move some rocks.

Well Godot I hope you're happy I have a huge pile of coffee sitting beside me right now that I'll be bringing over shortly...of course you KNOW the only way you're actually going to get it is through an...exchange....so you better be ready!  Oh, and I hope it's alright but I'm bringing Harry with me cause he helped me get it...I figure he deserves something too after the work we put into fetching it for you. 

*you can practically hear the grin in her voice* Plus I heard he and Riza finally kissed...I figure maybe we can get the full story straight from the horsey-bird's mouth if we play our cards right.

*ahem* Anyways, Sokka you've been pretty quiet lately...and that's scary...what's up?  And Aang I haven't heard much of you around the apartment either...I know your bending is probably a little off here but we're going to have to keep your Twinkletoes in shape so be ready for a pop quiz in earthbending the next time I feel you sneaking around.  And where'd the flamming prince sneak off to anyways?

*sigh* Sora, Loz, weird broken sword kid (we never really introduced ourselves...I'm Toph), did you guys get Namine home safely?  I noticed you three were a little out of it on the way back towards home so I wasn't sure.  Namine I...hope you're doing alright...

*sound of tapping* I think that's about it for me...I should probably head out while the sun is still up...according to the feel of the window it's a little after noon now.  After I deliver coffee to Godot it'll be time for one of my new favorite games due to the increased Crab population: Whack-A-Crab.  It's fun for everyone so if you see me playing feel free to join me.

Sokka! You just got here and all so don't go dying on me while I'm out of commission and tired as heck. I don't think I can even move a pebble right now...A PEBBLE! ARGH! THIS IS WORSE THAN WHEN MY FOOT WAS SPRAINED!

At least I still have good company...when I'm finally better I'll show you where I've been staying and I'll even take you shopping for a nice new weapon since you probably lost yours.

I feel more disconnected than usual today...I would go 'see' about my connection to the earth but I'm waayy too tired to move.

Uggghhh...other senses are still working...not sure if that's a good thing. Godot's been like this since this morning...it wasn't pleasant to wake up to let me tell you. Well, I'm not in the mood to talk anymore. Wake me up when my feet can feel the earth again.

Having your ankle sprained sucks...but not as much as broken toes. I NEED my feet dammit that's how I get around and 'see'! Stupid giant monster. AUGH!

I left her with Di---Godot. Who hasn't had coffee in who knows how long and we all know how worried he was about it...so...I hope things will work out. I'm not sure who to be more worried about now, actually.
